Tru trac

Recommended Posts

Finally have the 8.8 together, tru trac and 3.73. Have to fit the tq arm and the watts link next but the car is getting close to being ready to turn a wheel.43461f612fc2b7b50b1ebf562bcc4d82.jpg

Didn't realize you still had the car and doing mods to it.  My TrueTac has been flawless.

My car looks like this now, and I am seriously considering a 3.7 swap.21cdd3670a4c9d114d39e4672c74bfca.jpg

I have a Griggs tq arm. A modified Saleen watts link using a Griggs frame support. I also have a Griggs K member, not sure which a arms I will use but it should handle great when done.

It's been a long time since I had to check the pattern on a gear install!

The guy who set the gear is an obsessive perfectionist. I thought it was perfect and he took it apart again for a few thousandths. Should be quiet.

That's a horrible thing to obsess over due to just how 'perfect' the pattern can be. One pattern can be more perfect than another, and you can get stuck on it forever.

He called me in to see the previous one and it was well within spec.... then he tore it apart again. The guy isn't cheap but he is really good.
