  2. Cleared out everything inside the cabin, just need to finish up removing the wiring and steering column. Found they did the pans from firewall to the transition pan but stopped at the transition pan. Either this was the point in the work that the guy passed away or they just did not get to that section. Its not in bad shape I hit it with my body hammer, found one spot that will need patching. Here is the thing. I need to replace the rear deck panel (where the gas cap is) and the transition panel is $199, but the entire trunk that includes the transition panel is just $100 more. So I am leaning towards purchasing the entire trunk because I can..... Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  3. Last week
  4. Looks like you're making good progress so far. Glad to see you bringing this one back to life
  5. You'll like the change they give, just going to assume you are already tuned so you can just use the sct to reprogram for the new ratio. Really wakes the car up.

  7. So the 3.73 gears are ordered. Lmr has everything 10% off for fourth of July. Now I just need to schedule the install.
  8. Finished my goal this week, finished removing front bumper, separated the headlight buckets from stone deflector and cover, removed vacuum canister from passenger side of car, vacuum block, firewall braces and body harness and engine harness. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  9. Did another, no photoshop this time, just lightroom. FX1_9033 by David, on Flickr Changed the sky a bit FX1_9033_1 by David, on Flickr
  10. The only two I have edited from Mammoth so far... Both have a lot of photoshop in them.... Lake had a large boat on the left side against the dock, and the dog had a person bent over behind it and a building on the left.... lol FX1_8950-Edit by David, on Flickr FX1_8926-Edit_no_building by David, on Flickr
  11. They cut the cowl and attempted to mate a section from another car instead of replacing the cowl as a unit and the lower portion. Afterward the plastered bondo over it (painted black). So it rotted at the seam as seen in the pic above, unlike the passenger side which is mint for its age. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  12. After removing the front clip its very apparent why there is so much body work on the drivers door.... Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  13. With much respect I don't let people tell me I can't do something especially when it is between me and the goals I've made for myself. I might not be able to lift what Arnold was doing back in his prime, yet, but I will continue to work hard and improve as the journey is the most important part. The best part of Arnold's Blueprint is how it pairs muscle groups so that the primary movers are always as fresh as possible to perform the lift while the secondaries and the stabilizers have the opportunity to rest between sets and supersets. Before when I was doing push/pull workouts I was finding that my arms were totally burned out before I ever even got to them in the circuit whereas now they feel strong going into each set. My shoulders too have not been giving me any issues like they've done in the past. Right now the biggest issue I'm dealing with is that I'm outgrowing the free apartment gym already and will likely have to sign up to a real gym soon which I'm not happy about both for financial reasons plus my enjoyment of smaller crowds over larger crowds. There is a Globo-Gym wannabe right down the street that is comically huge just like in Dodgeball lol, but turns out I have one neighbor who's a member and another neighbor who actually works there as their chiropractor and he's already done some work on my back so if I can get a decent membership deal I may make that plunge.
  14. You can't do deadlifts but every 8 days or longer. You will injure yourself. Back&biceps, chest&triceps third day Legs. Arnold & Franco Columbu were using Roids which gave them extraordinary "Stamina", their workouts were very intensive. You can't do their workouts.
  15. Yeah no it's not catastrophic failure but just another thing that'll need to be fixed.
  16. That seems like someone just went ham on an impact tightening those bolts. I can’t see the aluminum just giving out and the trans forcing the crossmember through the bolts... there is only maybe 1-200 lbs on those bolts there. The majority of the weight is held by the bell housing and the motor. If you loosen those bolts and let the trans hang, you can push it up with your hands. I sorta doubt that just “happened”. O well. The one I knew broke was sheared since it slammed into a rock. It www cracked front to rear. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. He was saying rust on the inside was making it bulge. He didn't think it looked very sturdy and recommended I look for a stronger aftermarket one. This is the quick picture I took while it was up on the lift. It's just cracking around the bolts with a very slight bulge.
  18. The trans cross member I’m fairly certain is aluminum..... also wtf, that thing is beefy. Someone had to have taken a rock to it on the freeway to crack it I would think. I do know someone who cracked theirs in a spirited canyon run. Probs hit it going at least 45. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. So the guy finished the new driveshaft and it was barely too long. Luckily he was able to go back and cut it down to size so it's in the car now and I definitely can feel a difference with the new ds. It's a lot easier to rev up now. The bad news though is that the mechanic noticed that the transmission crossmember is cracked and will need to be replaced in the near future. Gotta love rust.
  20. Ouch. That blows. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. So I removed the driveshaft today and while it was up on the lift we found the rear right brake caliper was leaking brake fluid. So it's getting a new brake caliper tomorrow while it's not driving. That makes two calipers replaced in just under a year.
  22. Bench and overhead press are weak AF but I got my squat up to 275lbs for a single then did 225x5. Not easy to do deadlift in my tiny apartment gym but I gave it a go and did 225lbs but I seriously need a coach to correct my form so I'll save that for later.
  23. Yeah I wanted to do it myself but my dad's worried about stripping a bolt because it's so rusty so we're taking it to a mechanic Wednesday to take it out and hopefully it will be done in time for them to put it back in Thursday.
  24. When I got a DSS shaft my mechanic installed it in 15 mins easy. But, that was my 14 Cyclone mustang.
  25. Yep I see it, ok this will be interesting. So I'm going to drop the ds Wednesday night, drop it off Thursday morning and then have the new one by Thursday afternoon to reinstall. If everything goes to plan my car will only be down for a day.
  26. Assuming they didn’t totally change the exhaust, there is a slip fitting about 1/3 to 1/2 the way back, you just loosen that and the flange to the mufflers, slide the pipes back and out of the slip fitting and they will hang there giving you room to drop and install the DS. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  27. So I was just measuring my ds for the guy and I realized that the exhaust is blocking it in. Am I supposed to just slide it around or do I need to drop the exhaust? I am running a custom exhaust but it shouldn't be much different than stock.
